* Balance project constraints (time, cost, quality, scope, risk and benefits) to meet client expectations.
* Coordinate with the Project Manager and wider team to drive the project forward and ensure alignment with overall strategy.
* Maintain project records, prepare reports, liaise with stakeholders and support the Project Manager/Director to achieve project goals.
* Support accident/incident investigations and implement improvement solutions to enhance the H&S Management System.
* Manage subcontractors, ensuring contractual arrangements are achieved and progress monitored.
* Contribute to workshops on continuous improvement and ensure expenditure is within budget.

What You'll Be Doing (complementary tasks)

* Attend periodic project reviews and update the Digital Briefcase.
* Prepare internal/external reports, ensuring they provide relevant information for cost‑effective decisions.
* Drive technical information and drawings into delivery, understanding plant and equipment requirements.
* Write RAMS, accept subcontractor RAMS and ensure sufficiency and competency of workforce.
* Promote behavioural safety and reinforce golden rules.
* Plan and ensure delivery to programme, coordinate with other project activities and internal functions.
* Support procurement plans aligned with the overall project plans.
* Monitor performance, follow KPIs, and report on assurance activities such as audits.

Qualifications and Experience

* Experience in implementing safe systems of work and managing risks and change processes.
* Good understanding of standard forms of contracts; capable of communicating effectively at all levels.
* Proficient in commercial/project management communications with a solutions‑based approach to problem solving.
* Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to influence and negotiate in high‑pressure situations.
* Proficiency on O365 and knowledge of different project types (desirable).
* Driver’s licence and current CSCS/SSSTS or equivalent (desirable).

Benefits

* Smart working with up to 40% remote options where roles allow.
* 25 days paid annual leave (pro‑rated) and state‑maternity, adoption, paternity and partners leave (up to 28 weeks full pay).
