Meridian Business Support is recruiting for an experienced Recruiter who enjoys the service side of recruitment, managing clients and candidates, and filling vacancies. If this sounds like you, read on to learn more about working for this award-winning office in Chester!
This is a permanent role working Monday to Friday, 8am-5pm. The salary is approximately £28-30,000 per annum (negotiable depending on experience), plus uncapped commission, car allowance, laptop, phone, and fantastic benefits.
As a Recruiter in our Chester office, you will report to the Branch Manager with the following responsibilities:
* Source candidates for temporary assignments throughout Chester and the surrounding areas
* Respond to all branch enquiries via email and phone from clients and candidates
* Complete weekly payroll for 70+ temporary workers within the branch
* Write engaging job adverts and post them on our job board platform
* Deliver exceptional customer service to clients and candidates, maintaining strong, long-lasting relationships
* Keep all records updated in the CRM system
* Conduct telephone screens and face-to-face or WhatsApp video registrations with candidates to ensure suitability
* Communicate daily with clients and visit their premises regularly, so own transport is essential
* Negotiate terms with candidates and clients
* Support with other ad hoc duties within the team as required
We are eager to hear from applicants with the following skills and experience:
* At least 2 years of experience as a Recruitment Consultant, Permanent Consultant, or Internal Recruiter
* Proven success in recruiting for industrial roles (warehouse, logistics, production, etc.) is preferred
* Track record of building long-lasting relationships
* Confidence in providing excellent service levels to customers
* Ambitious and driven to exceed targets
* Great team player with a 'whatever it takes' attitude
* Driving license and own car are essential
