About The Role
Days of Working: Monday to Saturday, 06:00am to 12:00pm.
Key Responsibilities
* Responsibility for monitoring and ensuring that all aspects of the hygiene team’s activities meet site hygiene standards.
* Allocate tasks and responsibilities to the cleaning team to meet site requirements.
* Maintain high standards by monitoring work and implementing improvements as needed.
* Recruit and coach the cleaning team to achieve best results through open and continuous development conversations.
* Communicate daily with store representatives to resolve issues and build positive working relationships.
* Maintain budgets for equipment use, stock, and rota planning.
* Lead inductions covering health and safety training and role expectations.
* Ensure all employee training is recorded in line with company policies.
* Handle grievance, disciplinary or welfare matters with support from area management and HR.
* Accurately report sickness and manage absence levels appropriately.
* Other duties reasonably expected to deliver an effective and efficient service to our customer.
Role Requirements
* You must have the right to work in the UK.
* Previous experience as a Cleaning Manager or Supervisor is desirable or ability to lead the team.
* Experience in staffing, rotas, training, and basic HR compliance is desirable.
* Excellent customer service skills.
* Ability to work to deadlines and priorities; flexible with working hours and days.
* Excellent attention to detail.
