Job title: Chef Manager/Catering Manager
Location: Cardiff Area
Contract type: Permanent
Salary: £32,000 - £36,000
The role:
* Proven track record as a Chef Manager or Catering Manager, preferably with experience in both fresh food settings and contract/in-house catering.
* Ambition to provide the highest levels of service standards to customers.
* Ensure excellent quality food production across all kitchen areas.
* Knowledge of menu writing with a focus on healthy eating.
* IT literate with management of hygiene, allergen training, and related protocols.
Key information:
* Full-time contract, immediate start available.
* No split shifts.
* Primarily Monday to Friday.
* Occasional internal events.
Skills required:
* NVQ Level 3 or equivalent qualification.
* Training staff on allergens, H&S, hygiene, COSHH, etc.
* Enthusiasm and relevant skills.
* Experience in similar roles.
* Financial management skills.
* Staff management experience.
* DBS clearance (can be arranged).
