Are you an experienced HR professional who is ready to take on your next challenge? Are you looking for a fulfilling and rewarding career rather than just another job? Do you crave an autonomous environment where you have the freedom to really make your own mark on things? Then you’re in the right place!
We are currently looking for an HR Manager to join our Daventry operation. You’ll work with the senior leadership team to build and drive the HR people plan and GXO HR agenda.
This role is offered on a full-time, permanent basis. The hours are Monday to Friday, with a level of flexibility required — this is logistics, after all! The role will primarily be on-site.
Pay, benefits and more:
You’ll be paid a salary of up to £50,000 per annum. Benefits include 25 days of annual leave (plus bank holidays), with options to buy additional days, private healthcare, a dental plan, a workplace pension, and access to GXO University for learning and qualifications. Additional perks include high street discounts, a cycle-to-work scheme, and a focus on internal promotions, with over 55% last year!
What you’ll do on a typical day:
1. Provide consultancy and advisory services to managers on discipline, grievance, and performance matters, embedding GXO values.
2. Support and guide on HR matters such as TUPE, Talent Management, and Employee Relations.
3. Lead the HR Admin & Advisors team.
4. Facilitate change management activities.
5. Deliver best practice advice and support, ensuring legal and professional standards compliance.
6. Support a high-performing culture through HR activities.
What you need to succeed at GXO:
1. Ability to work autonomously in a fast-paced environment.
2. Experience managing TUPE projects.
3. Ability to influence Senior Management Teams.
4. Strong skills in managing change and restructuring.
5. Problem-solving skills for quick and effective resolution.
6. Ideally CIPD Level 5 qualification.
