About the role
This is a key role in Education Services (Library Learning Services): a team dedicated to providing expertise in education design, delivery, and continuous improvement to enable the delivery of the University’s Research-inspired Education Strategy. As Academic Developer, you will provide module delivery and development for the University’s internal Postgraduate Certificate in Academic and Professional Practice (PGCAPP). Having an active role in the PGCAPP’s continuous review and improvement of the programme. You will develop, manage and deliver academic professional development activity, including the experiential route for Advance HE accreditation across the University to support academic staff development, working closely with the members of the Academic Practice Development team and across Education Services.
About you
You will be educated to first degree level with FHEA status and an excellent knowledge of the Professional Standards Framework 2023 and the work of Advance HE. You will have excellent communication and presentation skills, with experience of designing, delivering and evaluating professional development programmes and associated resources. You must have excellent knowledge of curriculum design principles and inclusive assessment strategies.
