An excellent opportunity for a freelance Working Site Manager with a joinery background has arisen with our Interior Fit Out / Refurbishment Client who deliver outstanding office, student accommodation, commercial & leisure interior fit out & refurbishment schemes with values of projects from £300k – £5million.
Our client is currently looking for a freelance Working Site Manager, to work on a the interior fit out of a new build gym project in the Bristol area that will run for a minimum of 8 weeks with an immediate start on the 30th June 2025.
The Company are building a strong reputation for delivering high quality and fabulously designed schemes that achieve high praise from the end users.
Suitable candidates for this role must have experience as a Working Site Manager or a Site Manager with project values from £300k to £5million across the student accommodation, leisure, care & commercial refurbishment and office interior fit out sectors ideally.
You will be required to manage the delivery of the interior fit out including liaising with the client, drive the subcontractors, manage contractors on site as the No.1, general day to day issues, quality and programme whilst being a self-motivated individual that is autonomous in your role. From time to time you will also be able to call upon your joinery / carpenter skills and tools as you assist and work alongside the site team. Must be a hands on and willing individual.
The freelance Working Site Manager must be capable of managing all aspects of the production, previous experience of liaising with clients on a daily basis, whilst reporting to the visiting Contracts Manager is essential.
Skills / Requirements:
The successful freelance Working Manager must have previous care / office / student accommodation / hotel / leisure / or commercial refurbishment and / or D&B interior fit out experience
CSCS, First Aid, Asbestos Awareness and SMSTS
Experience of site managing D&B interior fit out or refurbishment schemes is ideal for this client, with values up to £5million
Unfortunately, if you do not have interior fit out / refurbishment experience as no 1 Working Site Manager we will not be able to put you forward for the role due to the client’s requirements.
Salary and Benefits:
On offer is a day rate of up to £290 dependent upon experience for the successful candidate.
