Overview
We are seeking a proactive and skilled Human Resource Officer to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a key role in managing HR operations, driving recruitment efforts, and ensuring seamless workforce planning within the construction industry. This position requires a dynamic individual with strong supervisory experience, the ability to manage multiple HR functions, and the expertise to leverage data and HR systems to support strategic decision-making.
Responsibilities
* Manage and oversee HR operations, including employee relations, workforce planning, and compliance with employment legislation.
* Lead recruitment processes across various levels, with a focus on sourcing and onboarding talent for the construction industry.
* Supervise HR staff, providing mentorship and ensuring adherence to best practices in HR management.
* Conduct HR data analysis to identify workforce trends, recruitment gaps, and training needs, supporting strategic business planning.
* Develop and deliver presentations on HR initiatives, policies, and compliance requirements to senior management and stakeholders.
* Foster effective communication across departments and project teams, ensuring HR objectives align with operational needs.
* Promote a positive and inclusive workplace culture while ensuring compliance with all HR policies, procedures, and industry regulations.
Experience
* Proven experience in HR operations and recruitment, ideally within the construction or related industries.
* Strong background in supervising teams and managing end-to-end recruitment processes.
* Demonstrated ability to analyse HR data and provide actionable insights to support decision-making.
* Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to engage diverse teams and stakeholders.
* Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
