HR Manager, North Yorkshire
C£45,000 - £55,000 FTE
Part-time, 3 days per week
We are looking to speak with experienced HR professionals who would be interested in a flexible part-time opportunity in a hands-on, fast-paced manufacturing environment. This is a standalone role, reporting directly into the Managing Director and supporting the Operations Manager, providing practical HR support across the business.
Key Responsibilities
* Manage end-to-end recruitment and onboarding, ensuring a smooth and engaging new starter experience
* Provide expert advice and support on employee relations, policies, and procedures
* Champion a positive company culture and lead initiatives to boost engagement and wellbeing
* Administer and review employee benefits, ensuring competitiveness and compliance
* Maintain and develop HR policies and ensure adherence to UK employment law
* Support line managers with day-to-day HR queries, coaching, and guidance
Skills & Experience
* Proven experience in a generalist HR role, ideally within a manufacturing or industrial environment
* Confident working independently and advising at all levels
* Strong understanding of employment law and HR best practices
* Approachable, practical, and solutions-focused with excellent communication skills
