Salary: £38,000 - £40,000 dependent upon experience
Hours: 9.00 am to 5.30 pm Monday to Friday
The Role
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Internal Recruiter to join our Human Resources team. This crucial role will be responsible for managing the end-to-end recruitment process for all departments and roles across the Holdcroft group, ensuring we attract and hire the best talent. A key component of this role also involves providing essential support to our flourishing Apprentice Programme.
Key Responsibilities
* Sourcing and Attraction: Develop and implement effective recruitment strategies to attract high-calibre candidates across all business areas. Utilise various channels including job boards, social media, careers page, recruitment events, and employee referrals.
* Candidate Management: Manage the candidate pipeline from initial application through to offer and onboarding.
* Screening and Shortlisting: Review applications and CVs, conduct initial telephone/video screenings, and shortlisting candidates for hiring managers.
* Interview Coordination: Coordinate and schedule interviews with hiring managers, ensuring a positive and efficient experience for all candidates.
* Offer Management: Work with our HR Administrator to prepare the offers, manage negotiation where necessary, and handle pre-employment checks.
* Stakeholder Communication: Maintain consistent and professional communication with hiring managers, providing regular updates on recruitment progress and offering guidance on best practices.
* Recruitment Metrics: Using our Teamtailor recruitment system track and analyse key recruitment metrics (e.g., time-to-hire, source of hire) to continually improve the effectiveness of the process.
Holdcroft Academy Apprentice Programme
* Work closely with our Training Partners to coordinate our newly formed Academy Apprentice programme
Required Skills and experience
* Proven experience as an Internal Recruiter, Talent Acquisition Specialist, or similar role, preferably within a fast-paced environment. Experience within the automotive sector is advantageous but not essential.
* Excellent knowledge of full-cycle recruiting techniques and sourcing methods.
* Familiarity with Team Tailor an advantage
* Strong administrative and organisational skills with meticulous attention to detail.
* Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, capable of building rapport with candidates and Group Hiring Managers.
* Proactive, self-starter attitude with the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
