Location: Hanley
Salary: c£25,000
Contract: Fixed Term Contract – 9 months
Hours: Full-time

We are currently recruiting for an experienced Payroll & HR Administrator to join a well-established organisation based in Hanley on a 9-month fixed-term contract. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with strong payroll and HR administration experience who is looking to join a friendly and supportive team.

The Role

Reporting into the HR Manager, you will provide comprehensive payroll and HR administrative support, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and a high level of service across the business.

Key Responsibilities

1. Processing monthly payroll, including starters, leavers, changes, and absences
2. Ensuring payroll data is accurate and compliant with HMRC regulations
3. Supporting with pensions, statutory payments, and payroll queries
4. Maintaining accurate employee records and HR systems
5. Assisting with HR administration across the employee lifecycle
6. Preparing contracts, letters, and HR documentation
7. Supporting with absence management and holiday records
8. Liaising with internal departments and external providers where required

About You

9. Previous experience in a payroll and/or HR administration role
10. Good working knowledge of payroll processes and employment legislation
11. Strong attention to detail and ability to handle confidential information
12. Confident using HR systems and Microsoft Office
13. Organised, reliable, and able to manage deadlines effectively
