: Wood is currently seeking a dedicated and hardworking Labourer to join our team for a cabling project. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in supporting our cabling technicians by assisting with various tasks related to cable installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting. Responsibilities: Assist cabling technicians in the installation of cable systems, including running cables, pulling wires, and connecting equipment. Prepare work areas by clearing debris, setting up equipment, and ensuring safety protocols are followed. Handle and transport materials, tools, and equipment to and from job sites. Assist in digging trenches, drilling holes, and other manual labor tasks required for cable installation. Maintain cleanliness and organization of work areas to ensure a safe and efficient working environment. Provide support during cable testing and troubleshooting activities as directed by senior technicians. Follow all company policies, procedures, and safety guidelines to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations. Communicate effectively with team members to coordinate tasks and ensure smooth project execution. Report any issues, concerns, or incidents to supervisors in a timely manner. Demonstrate a positive attitude, willingness to learn, and strong work ethic while contributing to the overall success of the project. Requirements: Previous experience in construction, electrical work, or a related field is preferred. Ability to perform physical tasks such as lifting heavy objects, bending, and standing for extended periods. Basic understanding of cabling and networking concepts is desirable. Strong attention to detail and the ability to follow instructions accurately. Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team environment. Valid driver's license and reliable transportation to travel to various job sites. Willingness to work outdoors and in various weather conditions. Commitment to safety and adherence to all safety guidelines and regulations. Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, as needed.
