About the Role
We're looking for a reliable and hands-on Painter / Labourer to join our busy workshop team in Bishops Waltham. You'll play an important role in the preparation and painting of Mobile Elevating Work Platforms (MEWPs)-including scissor lifts and boom lifts-ensuring each machine is painted and finished to a high professional standard.
This is a practical, varied position combining industrial painting, surface preparation, and general workshop support within a friendly and supportive team environment.
Key Responsibilities
1. Prepare and paint mobile elevating equipment to a high-quality finish.
2. Carry out surface preparation including cleaning, masking, sanding, and grinding.
3. Remove old or failing paint using tools such as sanders or grinders.
4. Apply industrial coatings and finishes using aerosol or spray systems.
5. Work efficiently to meet production targets and maintain workshop standards.
