Site Manager - Construction & Civil Engineering North
Up to £62k Basic Salary, Car/Allowance, Fuel Card & Attractive Benefits Package
Location: Greater Manchester / Mid Lancashire
Following a visit to this family owned regional civil engineering company, we are pleased to be working on their behalf to secure the services of a Site Manager to join their team in delivering projects for the EA Framework and Canal and River Trust.
The ethos and desire to deliver projects to a high standard has already enabled them to grow their portfolio of clients (either directly or to Tier 1 main contractors) and the fact that now around 80% of their business is negotiated tells a tale of their success.
The big message that comes across from the business is that there are genuine opportunities to progress if you desire – the management group are backed by the directors who are visible and take a interest in the day to day operations and also promote high standards throughout all aspects of the business.
Project Scope and Responsibilities
* Works predominantly within the EA / CRT Sector
* Management of construction programme and weekly reporting to contract manager
* Ensuring health & safety procedures are adhered to
* Liaison with client and other contractors
* Overseeing trades and specialist sub-contractors when self-delivering
* All associated paperwork although their desire to Agents to be boots on the ground
Key Attributes
* Experience of working in the Infrastructure/EA sector
* Must have temporary works experience
* Demonstrate track record of self-delivery on projects
* SMSTS
* First Aid
