Quality Manager
A well-established and respected South Yorkshire SME manufacturer is looking for a hands-on, standalone Quality Manager to lead its quality function. This standalone Quality Manager role will suit someone who enjoys ownership, variety, and making a real impact. You’ll oversee both Quality Assurance and Quality Control activities, maintaining high standards and continuously developing systems that underpin the company’s reputation for quality.
Key Responsibilities:

Maintain and improve the ISO 9001-based Quality Management System

Investigate and resolve customer complaints and non-conformance issues
*
Compile quality documentation and reports for internal and external use
*
Conduct inspections of incoming materials and in-process checks
*
Provide practical, hands-on quality support to the production floor
*
Liaise with certification bodies, suppliers, and customers
*
Manage training records, calibration logs, and quality-related documentation
*
Drive continuous improvement across systems and processes
What You’ll Bring:

Experience in a quality role within a manufacturing setting

Personable, proactive, and comfortable working across teams
*
Strong IT skills, particularly Excel and Microsoft Office
*
Ability to analyse and present data effectively
*
A hands-on mindset and willingness to engage with shop floor operations
Desirable:

Familiarity with ISO 9001 systems
