To provide a customer-focused, comprehensive and pragmatic HR advisory service to support managers and employees in line with organisational policies, procedures and legislative requirements.
To provide a professional advisory support HR service to the Corporate Management Team, Heads of Service, managers and employees of the Council, advising on a range of issues including absence and health issues, conduct and capability, grievance matters, pay and grading, organisational change and a range of employment and employee matters.
To support the People Strategy to ensure that Council objectives are achieved through the provision of a professional HR Service.
This post will proactively support wider HR activities to ensure that best-practice HR is embedded within the organisation, including encouraging wellbeing, retaining new starters, and enabling future talent.
