Job title: Senior Flutter Developer (Contract)
Type: Full-time contract
Location: UK, within 30 miles of one of our offices (remote, hybrid, or onsite)

The role
You’ll join a major UK-based investment platform, embedding directly into a long-term mobile app programme.
This is not a support role. You’ll work on a high-traffic product used by thousands of customers, focused on performance, reliability, and user experience at scale.
You’ll own Flutter delivery within the project, solving complex technical problems, improving app quality, and building clean, scalable solutions that hold up in production.
You’ll work closely with engineers, product, and QA in a cross-functional client team, delivering features end-to-end with a strong focus on quality.
What you’ll do
* Build and maintain production-grade Flutter applications
* Own features end-to-end, from implementation through to release
* Design and implement testing across unit, widget, integration, and E2E
* Drive improvements in performance, reliability, and maintainability
* Contribute to CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions, Bitrise, etc.)
* Collaborate closely with product, design, and QA
* Raise engineering standards through clean code and best practices
Required experience
* Strong commercial experience with Flutter and Dart
* Proven track record building and shipping mobile apps at scale
* Deep understanding of testing strategies and automation
* Experience with CI/CD in mobile environments
* Ability to solve complex problems with clean, maintainable code
* Strong understanding of performance, UX, and mobile architecture
