Fitness Instructor, Windsor Leisure Centre

We are currently recruiting a dedicated Fitness Instructor to join our health and fitness team at Windsor Leisure Centre.
Primary responsibilities include:
* Ensuring the safety and enjoyment of all users of the health and fitness facilities.
* Delivering inductions, group sessions, gym-based classes, and programmes for all users.
* Promoting excellent customer service and motivating clients to enjoy exercise through effective communication and sales skills.
* Managing daily operations of the health and fitness facilities.
* Maintaining high standards of cleanliness and brand standards within the centre, especially in the fitness areas.
* Performing basic maintenance and safety checks on equipment and facilities.
* Ensuring all equipment and facilities are secure when not in use.
* Assisting with other daily operational tasks as required.
* Monitoring health and safety issues within the centre, especially in fitness and health areas, and implementing safety procedures.
* Guiding, supporting, and assisting all fitness users, focusing on motivation, well-being, nutrition, and fitness testing.
The Person:
* Must be flexible, reliable, and a team player.
* Possess a REPS Level 2 or equivalent qualification and be willing to work variable hours, including early mornings, evenings, and weekends.
* Capable of gaining acceptance and respect from clients and colleagues.
* Able to build strong relationships with customers and team members.
* Effective at communicating at all levels of the organisation, including listening and directing.
DBS:
This is a regulated position requiring a DBS Disclosure. If not already held, a DBS check will be necessary.
