Ob Title: School Catering Manager Location: The Wirral Hours: Full-time, Monday to Friday, 7:30am - 2:00pm Pay: £18-£19 per hour About the Role: We are looking for an experienced and motivated School Catering Manager to join our team in The Wirral. You will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day running of the school kitchen, ensuring high-quality meals are prepared and served in line with nutritional standards. Key Responsibilities: Manage and supervise kitchen staff, providing guidance and support. Plan, prepare, and serve healthy and balanced meals for students and staff. Maintain high standards of food hygiene, health, and safety. Monitor stock levels and place orders as needed. Ensure compliance with all school policies and statutory regulations. Manage budgets and keep accurate records of purchases, costs, and waste. What We're Looking For: Previous experience in catering, preferably in a school or large-scale catering environment. Strong leadership and team management skills. Knowledge of food safety and hygiene regulations. Excellent organisational and communication skills.
