As the HR Assistant your role will encompass both administrative and employee relations responsibilities. Key duties include HR and payroll administration, covering joiners, movers, and leavers, as well as maintaining accurate records for all Moss colleagues. In the employee relations domain, the role oversees low-level cases, such as absence management, timekeeping, and right-to-work compliance, ensuring adherence to company policies. Collaboration is integral, as the HR Assistant works closely with the HR Manager, HR Business Partner, Store managers, and key stakeholders to support the efficiency of HR operations.
Overseeing low-level cases, such as absence management, timekeeping, and right-to-work compliance, ensuring adherence to company policies, working closely with our HR Business Partners.
Serving as a point of contact for HR-related inquiries from employees, managers, and external stakeholders. Responsibility for managing off-boarding and all leaver processes including paperwork, exit interview management and liaising with Payroll.
Ad-hoc reporting and administrative support for the HR Manager.
Responsibility for tracking Probation Management for Head Office colleagues and liaising with Line Managers to ensure paperwork is completed.
Advise Head Office Line Managers on processes for absence and holiday management.
Manage all family friendly leave paperwork, flexible working paperwork and any other ad hoc requests.
Supporting with administration for the Company Benefits programme, where required.
Providing administrative support for HR projects and initiatives, such as talent management, employee engagement, and diversity and inclusion programs. This may involve tasks such as data entry, scheduling meetings, preparing presentations, and distributing materials.
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly in Excel and PowerPoint.
Experience in HR or a related junior position.
Excellent communication skills, both verbally and in writing.
