About the Role:We are seeking four dedicated and compassionate Learning Mentors to join a vibrant and supportive Special Educational Needs (SEN) school in Lymm. This is a fantastic opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of children and young people with a range of additional needs.
Key Responsibilities:
* Provide 1:1 and small group support to pupils with SEN
* Assist in the delivery of tailored learning activities and interventions
* Support pupils’ emotional, social, and behavioural development
* Work collaboratively with teaching staff and other professionals
* Foster a safe, inclusive, and nurturing learning environment
Essential Requirements:
* A recognised Childcare or Teaching Assistant qualification
* A resilient and patient approach to working with children with complex needs
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills
* A genuine passion for supporting children with additional needs
Desirable:
* Previous experience working in a SEN setting
* Knowledge of strategies for supporting children with autism, ADHD, or SEMH needs
