We are looking for a Cook to join our team at Jasmine Court, preparing nutritious, homely meals that support the wellbeing of our service users.

About Jasmine Court
Jasmine Court is a 66-bed service in Loughborough (LE11 1EU). We provide specialist nursing and residential care in a safe and supportive environment where service users are encouraged to live fulfilling lives. Catering is an important part of the service, supporting both health and wellbeing.
About the Role
As a Cook, you will:
1. Prepare and serve meals to a high standard, considering dietary needs and preferences
2. Order, monitor and manage stock effectively to minimise waste
3. Maintain hygiene and food safety standards, including recording checks and controls
4. Support and guide junior catering staff when required
5. Communicate effectively with colleagues across all departments
Shifts will be worked on a rota basis, including weekdays, weekends and public holidays (07:30 – 15:00 / 11:00 – 18:00)
About You
We are looking for someone who is reliable, flexible and committed to delivering a high-quality catering service. You should have:
6. A Level 3 Food Hygiene Certificate (desirable)
7. Knowledge of food safety, COSHH and allergy awareness
8. The ability to work well under pressure and as part of a team
You must also demonstrate our values in your work.
