We are a multi-disciplined contractor with a service portfolio that covers track, trades, civils, OLE, signalling and telecoms along with trackside lighting and safety barrier fencing. In this respect we are a forward-thinking business that has the ability to undertake large scale contract works delivering a variety of services such as structures, track drainage, earthworks and lineside infrastructure works under one umbrella. We have established a network of offices across the whole of the UK where we pro-actively recruit from within the local community to fully support our clients on a Basis. One of our large rail clients is looking for a Quality Manager to join their team on a long term contract basis. The role will involve reporting to the Head of Quality, the Alliance Quality Manager holds a leadership role responsible for delivering against the overarching quality strategy across all projects. This includes developing and interpreting Quality related performance data in order to to direct limited resources, building confidence through assurance and compliance oversight across the business. The role involves focussing on key deliverables such as audit reporting and non-conformance management and involves delivering to agreed deadlines without the need for constant supervision. Applicants must have Extensive experience in quality management, with a proven track record in leadership roles. Lead auditor qualified against ISO9001 or equivalent. Experience of construction assurance principles (EGInspection & Test Plans). Deep understanding of quality methodologies, standards, and regulations. Experience in design Quality assurance and / or handback and completions management an advantage. Exceptional leadership skills with the ability to motivate and mentor quality teams. Strong analytical skills to derive insights from quality data and drive informed decisions. Excellent communication and negotiation skills for effective stakeholder engagement. Proficiency in standard software including MS Office suite and Sharepoint, knowledge of tools to streamline processes. Problem-solving with the capability to navigate complex quality challenges. Delivery focussed around key outputs and the ability to deliver against agreed timescales.
