Aftermarket Business Support Officer
£40,000 | Belfast | 6-Month Contract
VANRATH are delighted to be recruiting for a Business Support professional on behalf of one of our leading clients within the manufacturing sector. This contract will support a key team within the organisation's Aftermarket division - focused on global parts supply, repairs, and customer support.
This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with a background in business operations, supply chain or commercial support who thrives in a fast-paced environment and understands the importance of clear communication around purchase orders and repair activity.
The Role
1. Provide day-to-day support to the Aftermarket Business Operations team.
2. Coordinate and track spare part orders and repair activities across global sites.
3. Liaise with internal teams (commercial, supply chain, logistics, operations) to ensure timely delivery of goods and services.
4. Communicate with suppliers and customers regarding order status, lead times, and schedule updates.
5. Monitor and report on outstanding purchase orders and repair turnaround times.
6. Support continuous improvement across aftermarket operations and customer service processes.
The Ideal Candidate
7. Experience in a business support, supply chain, or commercial operations role.
8. Strong communication skills - confident engaging with customers, suppliers and internal teams.
9. Proficient in SAP or another MRP/ERP system (desirable but not essential).
10. Organised and proactive, with the ability to manage competing priorities.
11. Background in manufacturing, aerospace, engineering or logistics is beneficial but not required.

13. Contract: 6-months initially (potential extension)
