Prideaux house dementia care home are looking for a person to fill the cook and supper cook role combined at 33 hours per week.
cooking shifts 8am - 2.30pm (will include alternate weekends)
Supper shifts 3pm-6.30pm
4 days cooking and 2 days supper per week (33 hours)
The applicant must be able to follow the menu currently in place and contribute to creating new menus.
prepare, cook and serve main meal, suppers and desserts. Bake afternoon cakes, biscuits and savoury snacks.
Be able to do online ordering for groceries and butchers.
Ensure the kitchen is kept clean and tidy and uphold our long standing food hygiene rating of 5.
Stock rotation to be done daily and all paperwork completed.
Being a care home you must adhere to dietary requirements and be able to serve food suitable for the service user's we care for eg. puree, fortified etc.
All training will be provided, experience preferred.
