We are working with a local Multi Academy Trust who require a HR Manager for a maternity leave cover in a local school.
This role is available to full time and part time candidates and is usually term time only plus 5-20 days during holidays although they will consider all year round.
The role will begin in September 2025 to do a handover.
The role:
* Lead the provision of high quality and efficient HR services
* Work autonomously to deliver complete HR services, with access to support from the central team
* Build relationships within the school and senior leadership team
* You will be responsible for recruitment, selection and onboarding of new staff, employee records management, relations, learning and development and offboarding of leaving staff
* Provide advise and guidance to all stakeholders in line with policies and procedures such as absence, disciplinary, grievance etc
Responsibilities:
* Line management of team
* Oversee, manage and review workload of direct reports, distributing work fairly, meeting deadlines in line with expectations.

* Maintain up to date knowledge
* Develop, maintain and review policies and procedures
Qualifications & Skills
* CIPD level 5
* Up to date working knowledge of employment law
* Management Experience
* Experience of analysing, interpreting and utilising data
* Knowledge of recruitment and selection
* school experience preferred but not essential
* Experience of databases
* Good IT and communication skills
