Overview
HR Manager - Tunstead Cement Plant, Commercial & Central SC&L role at AIMCH. Based at the Tunstead site in Buxton, Derbyshire, with travel across the UK as required. This role supports one of the largest Cement Plants in the UK and the Supply Chain team across the Midlands, delivering strategic people goals, partnering with key stakeholders, and shaping the future of HR in a dynamic environment.

Key Responsibilities
* Manage all operational HR activities for the area, providing professional HR support to key stakeholders
* Implement and monitor HR policies and initiatives aligned with Group objectives
* Lead on talent attraction, development, and succession planning
* Ensure compliance with employment law and internal policies
* Champion equality, fairness, and consistency in employee relations matters
* Coach and support site management to build an enabling and engaging culture
* Maintain strong relationships with trade unions and lead wage negotiations
* Drive performance and absence management initiatives, providing HR KPI data, analysis, and insights to support decision-making
* Coordinate the annual performance review process
What Were Looking For
* CIPD Qualified (or equivalent experience)
* Experience in a fast-paced large organisation, ideally in heavy industry, engineering, or manufacturing
* Strong understanding of HR best practices and employment law
* Proven experience in employee relations, business changes (e.g., TUPE, reorganisations), talent management, and a unionised environment
* Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
* Ability to influence, coach, and build relationships with stakeholders at all levels
* Experience in driving organisational change and delivering impactful HR projects
* Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills with a data-driven approach
