HR Manager

We are seeking an experienced and proactiveHR Managerto join our growing team at ITAS Solutions. In this role, you will manage the full range of HR responsibilities, with a focus on recruitment, employee relations, performance management, compliance, and fostering a positive work culture. As a key player in our organization, you will work closely with leadership to align HR strategies with business goals, ensuring the success and well-being of our employees.

Key Responsibilities:

Recruitment & Onboarding:

* Manage the end-to-end recruitment process, including posting job ads, screening CV's, conducting interviews, and making offers.

* Develop and execute an efficient onboarding process to integrate new employees smoothly into the company.

* Collaborate with department heads to assess staffing needs and ensure the right talent is in place.

Employee Relations:

* Serve as the first point of contact for employee concerns, providing guidance on workplace issues, conflict resolution, and employee engagement.

* Promote and maintain a positive company culture by organizing team-building activities, events, and fostering open communication.

* Address and resolve employee performance issues, disciplinary actions, and grievances in a fair and consistent manner.

* Confident in advising managers and handling ER cases independently

Performance Management:

* Implement and maintain performance management systems, including regular performance reviews and feedback processes.

* Collaborate with leadership to set clear performance goals, development plans, and ensure the effective recognition of high performers.

* Provide training and support to managers on best practices for conducting performance evaluations and addressing underperformance.

Compensation & Benefits:

* Manage compensation structures to ensure competitiveness within the market and internal equity.

* Administer employee benefits programs, including health insurance, retirement plans, paid time off, and wellness initiatives.

* Conduct regular compensation reviews to ensure alignment with industry standards and company budget.

Compliance & Policy Management:

* Ensure compliance with employment law, health & safety regulations, and other relevant employment legislation.

* Maintain and update the employee handbook, policies, and procedures in line with current regulations.

* Conduct periodic audits to ensure HR practices are legally compliant and follow best practices.

HR Administration:

* Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records and HR databases.

* Oversee HR reporting, tracking, and documentation of all relevant HR metrics, including turnover, hiring trends, and training needs.

* Handle employee requests for HR-related matters such as time-off, leaves of absence, and HR policy clarifications.

Training & Development:

* Develop and implement training programs to foster both manager and employee growth and development.
* Identify areas for skill-building and create learning opportunities to support employee success.
* Partner with managers to ensure employees have the resources and support needed to excel in their roles.

HR Strategy & Business Partnership:

* Work closely with company leadership to develop HR strategies that align with overall business goals.

* Analyse HR metrics and trends to make data-driven decisions that improve the business's performance and culture.

* Lead initiatives related to employee engagement, retention, and organizational growth.

Requirements:

Education & Experience:

* Preferably Level 5 CIPD qualified in Human Resources or equivalent experience with commitment towards a professional qualification

* 3-5 years of experience in HR, ideally in a small to medium-sized business setting.

* Solid understanding of employment laws and HR best practices.

Skills:

* Strong leadership, interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to engage employees at all levels.

* Proactive and results-oriented with a hands-on approach to problem-solving.

* High attention to detail and organizational skills.

* Proficient in HR software (e.g., payroll systems, HRIS) and Microsoft Office Suite.

* Knowledge of compensation and benefits programs.

* Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion.

* Adaptability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

* Passion for creating an inclusive, positive workplace culture.
