About the Role
Raytheon UK’s Courseware and Media Development Capability (CMDC) seeks Senior Media Developers to support training material development. This is a remote role, working from home.
Responsibilities
1. Produce interactive media for training courses following production processes, manuals, and style guides.
2. Develop interactive media in Unity with 3D assets provided by 3D developers, responsible for building interactive functionalities.
3. Create media in line with best practices in Graphic Design and Multimedia.
4. Design media sequences, animations, eLearning, and virtual environments, managing assets and workflows effectively.
5. Adhere to Raytheon and Customer policies.
6. Assist other departments as needed.
7. Ensure health and safety responsibilities are met.
8. Travel within the UK may be required.
9. Promote a culture of Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS) compliance.
10. Perform other duties to support CMDC training services.
Candidate Profile
The ideal candidate has Unity-based interactive media design experience, is creative, confident, collaborative, detail-oriented, and possesses good communication skills.
Essential Requirements
* Qualification in Digital Media, Graphic Design, or related field (minimum QCF Level 4).
* At least 2 years of experience in media content creation, proficiency in 3D modelling, Unity, Adobe Creative Cloud, or Articulate 360.
* Organized, able to work independently and in fast-paced environments.
* Ability to interpret technical and non-technical information visually.
* Multitasking skills across multiple projects under deadlines.
* Proficiency in MS Office tools.
* Effective communication with stakeholders for media requirements.
* Eligibility for SC security clearance.
Desirable Qualifications
* Degree-level qualification (QCF Level 6 or equivalent).
* Experience in developing interactive training and understanding of web technologies (HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, WebGL).
* Adobe CC Suite skills including Photoshop and Illustrator.
* Recent training design and development experience.
* Knowledge of QA procedures, responsive design, UI/UX.
