The role: To operate the catering facility at one of our main campuses, ensuring the production of great quality food, in high volumes and to a high standard. The role is responsible for ordering, menu planning, cooking, cleaning, and till operation. Full time (37 hours per week) 52 Weeks Per Annum Permanent £25458.00 - £27713.00 Per Annum Gorseinon Campus, Swansea Key Responsibilities: Prepare and cook the food to a high standard Deliver exceptional customer service Provide buffets/hospitality when ordered Complete all relevant food safety paperwork Review and contribute to menu creation. Ensure all allergen information is supplied and correct Monitoring food production, quality, quantities and portion control Provide a team briefing daily Maintaining a clean and safe kitchen environment to a Level 5 Food Safety rating, ensuring all cleaning schedules are completed to a high standard and report any issues promptly Ordering and receiving food and non-food items from our suppliers Cash handling Deputise in the absence of the Manager About you: NVQ level 2 in Food Preparation, or equivalent qualification Previous experience of cooking or assisting in a catering kitchen environment Ability to work efficiently and under pressure.
