HR Officer Are you an experienced HR Officer looking for an exciting role in a fast-paced environment? We're seeking a talented HR Officer to join a collaborative HR team within the manufacturing industry. The Role As an HR Officer, you'll play a key role in providing comprehensive HR support across the business. Your work will focus on onboarding, employee engagement, learning coordination, and HR systems management. Key responsibilities Take ownership of ER case management, offering guidance and support to managers on issues such as attendance, conduct, grievance, and performance. Manage the end-to-end onboarding process, ensuring every new hire enjoys a smooth and positive introduction to the company. Coordinate and administer training programmes, handling scheduling, attendance tracking, and record maintenance. Act as a first point of contact for HR-related queries, offering guidance on issues such as performance, attendance, and policy interpretation. Maintain employee records accurately and in line with GDPR and company compliance standards. Work with the HRIS system to manage data, generate reports, and assist with upgrades and process improvement initiatives. Support the review, drafting, and rollout of HR policies to ensure clarity and alignment. Assist with engagement activities including recognition events, staff communications, and wellbeing initiatives. Help organise company events such as induction sessions, workshops, and employee forums. The ideal candidate Experience in a similar HR officer role, ideally within a fast-paced environment. Strong working knowledge of HR systems and Microsoft Office tools. Highly organised with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities efficiently. Excellent communication skills with a proactive and team-oriented approach. CIPD qualification or equivalent third-level HR education preferred. What's on offer?
