I am working with a great organisation based in Preston who does really put their colleagues first, due to an internal re-structure they are now seeking a talented and ambitious HR Manager to join them and take the lead with all aspects of job satisfaction for all employees, this is a prime objective of the Group.
We are looking for a motivated, enthusiastic individual to play a pivotal role in driving forward the H.R. function, as part of our professional and forward-thinking Senior Management Team during their continued expansion program.
Responsibilities and duties to include:
* Responsible for managing all H.R. matters for 200 employees
* Develop HR strategies
* Champion and lead the employee engagement
* Advising and guiding Senior Management & Line Managers
* Absence Control
* Investigations, disciplinary's & appeals
* Issuing new employee starter packs and contracts
* Responsible for one-off H.R. projects, including TUPE
* Coordinate annual appraisals
* Maintain and develop Investors in People
* Recruitment & retention
Requirements:
* Proven track record as H.R. Generalist
* Comprehensive knowledge of UK employment law
* Direct supervision of 4 staff
* Company pension
* Member of SMT
Based at their Preston Head Office but will be occasionally required to travel.
