Responsibilities
1. Source and recruit staff cost effectively for the Group, via direct adverts, head hunting and when needed liaising with agencies
2. To provide full support to the hiring managers at all levels, up to and including Group MD
3. Drafting and posting job adverts on external job boards and social networking sites
4. Full candidate management including managing adverts and arranging interviews
5. Managing and negotiating offers of employment, including administration of offer letters and contracts etc
6. Create and maintain great quality relationships with all key stakeholders
7. Maintain accurate and confidential records in relation to personnel information and documentation ensuring that starters and leavers are processed to meet both legislative and Company requirements including the request and follow up of references for all new employees
8. Provide and maintain management spread sheets, including, staff turnover information, absence and disciplinary records
9. Produce reports using the recruitment system and Excel
10. Provide support to the payroll department in relation to starter/leaver information, employee amendments, salary and data changes
11. Conduct new starter inductions
12. Carry out any ‘ad hoc’ assignments as and when required
Knowledge, Skills, Experience
13. Previous experience within recruitment is essential preferably in an Engineering sector
14. Ability to work well under pressure, on your own initiative and to tight deadlines in a fast paced office environment
15. Confident communicating at all levels
16. Excellent computer literacy and numeracy skills
17. Reliable and punctual
18. Ability to work pro-actively to improve efficiency and cost reduction
19. Flexible and proven experience to multi task
20. Full UK Driving license required to travel between sites when requested
