An established events agency is looking for an ambitious Event Sales Executive to join their growing team and play a key role in driving sponsorship and exhibition revenue across a diverse portfolio of high-profile events.

This is a fast-paced, commercially focused role, ideal for someone who enjoys building relationships, closing deals, and working across exciting live events including conferences, exhibitions and awards.


The Role

As Event Sales Executive, you will be responsible for selling sponsorship and exhibition packages, managing commercial partners, and supporting wider business development activity. You'll work closely with internal teams to ensure sponsors receive maximum value and a seamless event experience.


Key Responsibilities

* Proactively sell sponsorship and exhibition packages across a portfolio of conferences, exhibitions and awards
* Identify and approach new commercial partners through outbound sales, networking and lead generation
* Manage sponsor and exhibitor relationships from initial enquiry through to event delivery
* Create tailored sponsorship proposals and sales presentations where required


Client & Stakeholder Management

* Act as the main point of contact for sponsors and commercial partners
* Manage contracts, invoicing coordination, and sponsorship deliverables
* Ensure sponsors receive agreed branding, visibility and promotional benefits
* Represent the business at industry events, networking functions and client meetings
* Support event administration including ticket sales and exhibition floor plans


Business Development & Strategy

* Support wider business development initiatives and new client opportunities
* Develop and grow existing accounts, maximising repeat business and upsell potential
* Work closely with internal event delivery and marketing teams


About You

* A passion for Events
* Proven ability to hit sales targets and build strong commercial relationships
* Excellent communication, negotiation and presentation skills
* Highly organised with strong attention to detail
* Confident managing multiple accounts and priorities
* Comfortable communicating with stakeholders at all levels
* Experience working within an events agency
* Experience in Hospitality sales
* Background in awards, conferences, exhibitions or live events
* Experience building bespoke sponsorship proposals
