Salary: Band 7, NJC12 to NJC17 (27,711 to 30,060) 36 Hours per week, split shift (times to be agreed)

We are seeking an enthusiastic and highly motivated Site Manager to join our committed and friendly team of staff based at Ingrow Primary School.
The Footprints Federation comprises of two very different schools and is able to provide excellent career and training opportunities both within and across the two sites offering a genuine interest in you. The successful candidate will work under the direction of their Line Manager using their own initiative and will be responsible for the safety and security of the building and grounds, cleanliness, heating, lighting, general maintenance around the school and ensuring Health & Safety compliance on site.
Previous experience of premises management in an educational environment, along with Health and Safety knowledge would be advantageous. The candidate will be expected to carry out all the responsibilities of a key holder - opening and locking the school and emergency call outs.
The successful candidate will:
1. Manage the site, buildings and grounds and maintaining a clean, safe, and purposeful environment.
2. Take responsibility for security and Health and Safety.
3. Have a good knowledge of Health and Safety procedures, including IOSH, and COSHH (training will be given to the successful candidate).
4. Undertake a range of minor repairs, maintenance and decorating.
5. Be a positive, hardworking and friendly team player.
6. Be flexible and able to work across other sites, occasional weekend or late evenings if required.
7. Undertake some grounds maintenance.
