Job Title: Contract Workday Developer
Location: London / Hybrid (2 days onsite per week)
Rate: Up to £500 per day (Outside IR35)
Contract Length: 6 months (with strong potential to extend)

We’re partnering with a global consultancy to deliver a high-impact Workday transformation programme for a prestigious client in the City, and looking for an experienced Workday Developer to join the project team on a long-term contract basis.
Key Responsibilities:
* Design, develop, and maintain Workday integrations using Core Connectors, Studio, and EIB
* Customise Workday reports (Advanced, Matrix, Composite) and dashboards
* Collaborate with HR, Finance, and IT stakeholders to gather technical requirements
* Provide technical support for Workday modules, particularly HCM, Absence, Compensation, and Talent
* Troubleshoot and resolve integration and configuration issues
* Participate in testing, deployment, and change control activities
* Document technical designs and conduct peer reviews
Essential Skills & Experience:
* Minimum 3+ years’ hands-on Workday development experience
* Proven experience with Workday Studio, EIBs, Core Connectors, and Web Services (SOAP/REST)
* Strong knowledge of Workday data structures and security
* Experience delivering within an Agile or hybrid project environment
* Solid grasp of XML, XSLT, and Workday Report Writer
* Excellent communication skills with ability to work independently and remotely
* Prior experience in client-facing roles, ideally within a consultancy
Desirable:
* Workday certifications in Core HCM, Integrations or Studio
* Exposure to Prism, Extend or Adaptive Planning
* Experience working on global deployments or multi-country rollouts
