Site Manager – Principal Contractor
Winchester | 30-Week Contract | Immediate Start | Further Work Available
We are currently recruiting for an experienced Site Manager with a principal contractor background for a project based in Winchester. This is a 30-week contract with the strong possibility of follow-on work.
The ideal candidate will be strong in fit out, with proven experience delivering commercial and retail projects, as well as managing both internals and externals through to completion.
Key Responsibilities:
* Overseeing day-to-day site operations
* Managing subcontractors across fit out, internals and externals packages
* Driving programme and coordinating multiple trades
* Ensuring H&S compliance and site documentation
* Chairing site meetings and liaising with client/design team
* Managing quality inspections and handover process
Requirements:
* Proven Site Manager experience with a Principal Contractor
* Must be strong in fit out, ideally commercial and retail projects
* Experience delivering both internals and externals packages
* SMSTS, CSCS and First Aid
* Excellent communication and organisation skills
* Ability to start ASAP
