Sales Executive Staffline Ireland are recruiting for a Sales Executive on behalf of one of the largest local providers of health, safety and environmental management training. The Sales Executive will be responsible for driving new business growth through the proactive development of external sales opportunities and the acquisition of new customers. Responsibilities: Conduct market research to identify potential customers and assess their needs Generate new business leads through external sales activities, including cold calling, networking, site visits, and industry events Build and maintain strong relationships with prospective clients to expand the company's customer base Continuously monitor market trends and competitor activity to identify new opportunities Set up and attend meetings with potential clients to present company products and services Prepare and deliver engaging sales presentations and proposals tailored to client requirements Negotiate and close sales deals, handling objections professionally and effectively Participate on behalf of the company in exhibitions, conferences, and networking events Identify, prepare, and submit tender bids in line with company goals and submission deadlines Ensure all bid documentation is accurate, timely, and compliant with client specifications Collaborate with internal teams to gather required technical or pricing information Maintain and update customer information and leads on the CRM system Produce regular reports on sales performance and pipeline activity Process payments and ensure all financial transactions are recorded accurately Collaborate with colleagues to coordinate schedules, share insights, and achieve team goals Any other duties role may involve Person Specification: Proven ability to work independently and manage a personal sales pipeline effectively Strong background in external (field) sales and new customer acquisition 5 years' experience in a fast-paced, target-driven sales environment Demonstrated success in winning new business and building long-term customer relationships Experience in preparing and submitting tender bids CRM software experience is essential Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel) Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills Professional, confident, and persuasive phone and in-person manner Flexible approach with the ability to prioritise and problem-solve Highly organised with strong time management and administrative skills Positive, motivated, and results-oriented attitude Full driving licence and access to own car is essential The Rewards The successful Sales Executive will enjoy a competitive salary depending on experience plus uncapped commission, fuel allowance, free on-site parking and career progression opportunities.
