Job Description
ElevatFlex is seeking an Employment Lawyer/Solicitor to fill an interim 24-month contract position with an MNC Bank, starting on short notice or immediately. The role involves managing employment law matters for the Bank in the UK and Europe, mitigating risks related to people issues, and supporting group-wide projects with an employment law element.
You might be the right person if you:
* Have a UK Solicitor’s Regulation Authority practising certificate.
* Strong employment law experience from a top-tier law firm (ideally, at least 3+ years of PQE).
* Experience providing general advisory on internal investigations, disciplinaries, and grievances, as well as advising on employee relations issues such as disciplinaries, grievances, redundancy/restructuring, and termination of employment.
* Enjoy a varied workload of contentious and advisory employment law work.
* Ability to multi-task and work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
* Employment litigation
* Drafting and advising on employment contracts and policies
* Employee data privacy issues and data subject access requests (preferred)
* Regulatory issues affecting staff, particularly remuneration (preferred)
