Administration Officer - Belfast Belfast Please see description Posted April 25, 2024 Our client is looking for an Administration Officer to join their team Rate of Pay: £12.36 Hours: 37 hours Shift Pattern: Monday to Friday 9am - 5pm Location: Belfast Duration: On-going contract Start date: As soon as possible once clearance is in place. : Completion of Subject Access Requests allocated to Police Administration Branch ensuring these are completed in line with current Data Protection legislation (GDPR). To assist branch management with research and completion of Freedom of Information requests allocated to Police Administration Branch. Preparation of referrals to the Selected Medical Practitioners for police officer ill health retirement & injury on duty award and other miscellaneous cases from application to completion; Liaison with DOJ, PSNI, Selected Medical Practitioners and former/current police officers to include responding to written/telephone enquires; Electronic record management to include use of the Microsoft Office suite and the Branch IT systems; Processing of invoices; Compile Reports for management and/ or Committees of the Board; Manual filing to include lifting boxes/ retrieving hard files when required Setting up rooms for meetings including making tea/ coffee Acknowledging daily post, photocopying, and scanning documents ESSENTIAL CRITERIA Good communication skills - both oral and written ; Good IT skills and experience of using Microsoft word and excel spread sheets and data entry; Good time management and organisational skills; An ability to work under pressure, and planning/prioritising workloads on a daily basis.
