About The Role
Reporting to the HR Director, and working closely with our Office & Engagement Manager and HR Advisor, this is a broad generalist role with a focus on both recruitment and core HR delivery. You’ll play a key role in supporting leaders and employees across the full employee lifecycle, balancing operational excellence with a proactive, people‑first approach.
What You’ll Be Doing
* Through our exceptional employer brand you will lead end‑to‑end recruitment across all business areas, from advertising and screening to supporting the successful onboarding of new starters.
* Providing expert support and advice on employee relations matters, ensuring fairness, consistency, and alignment with our values.
* Managing payroll and benefits, working with external providers to ensure smooth and accurate processes.
* Supporting employee engagement initiatives — from surveys and feedback to recognition and wellbeing activities.
* Partnering with managers to drive great people practices and help our teams grow and perform.
* Supporting the delivery of HR projects and initiatives that make our culture and employee experience even stronger.
* Be an advocate and champion strong internal communications and work with the HR team to ensure consistent and clear communications are delivered across different channels.
About You
You’ll be a confident and approachable HR generalist who enjoys getting stuck in. You will bring curiosity, initiative, and a genuine interest in how our business works — our customers, our growth plans, and how every person contributes to our success.
We would love to hear from you if you have:
* Solid HR experience across the employee lifecycle (CIPD Level 5+ or equivalent experience would be beneficial but we will be willing to fund a qualification)
* Previous experience in a HR Manager or HR Team lead role
* Great understanding of UK employment law and best practice
* Hands‑on recruitment experience, ideally in a tech or growth business
* Strong communication and relationship‑building skills
* A proactive, positive approach — with a genuine passion for people and culture
