Site Manager required to join a reputable main contractor to provide cover on an Industrial Warehouse project in Slough for a short-term assignment across 3 days — Friday 20th, Monday 23rd & Tuesday 24th. The role will focus on day-to-day site supervision, coordination of trades, and maintaining programme, quality, and health & safety standards while the permanent team is off site.
Key Responsibilities
* Oversee daily site operations and coordinate subcontractors on an active warehouse construction project
* Conduct daily briefings and toolbox talks to site operatives and trades
* Monitor site activities to ensure works are progressing safely and in line with programme
* Ensure high standards of health & safety and site housekeeping are maintained at all times
* Liaise with the Project Manager and report progress, issues, and site updates
* Carry out inspections and basic QA checks to ensure works meet drawings and specifications
* Manage deliveries, logistics, and general site organisation
* Deal with any on-site issues and provide leadership to subcontractors and labour
Ideal candidate
* Previous experience working as a Site Manager on industrial / warehouse or main contractor projects
* Ability to step onto a live site and confidently manage operations for short-term cover
* Strong communication and coordination skills with subcontractors and site teams
* SMSTS, 3 Day First Aid, and Black CSCS Card (essential)
