Quality Manager | £55,000+ | 33 Days Holiday | Early Friday Finish | Training & Development
A Quality Manager opportunity has arisen within a growing UK manufacturing business supplying into demanding, performance-critical sectors. Operating from a well-invested facility in the West Midlands, the company combines automated and manual processes and is continuing to expand its customer base globally. This position would suit a hands-on Quality professional ready to take full ownership of site performance, or an established Quality Manager seeking a broader, more influential role within a fast-paced environment.
Quality Manager responsibilities include -
* Leading site-wide quality performance, embedding right-first-time principles.
* Managing internal, external and supplier audits, ensuring ongoing compliance to ISO 9001.
* Supporting APQP activities including PPAP submissions, FMEA and control plans.
* Owning customer concerns, NCRs, driving robust 8D and root cause investigations.
* Developing supplier quality performance through SQA activity and CI initiatives.
* Driving KPI performance, reporting trends and leading cross-functional improvement activity.
Quality Manager desirable skills and experience -
* Proven background in a senior Quality role within manufacturing or engineering.
* Experience within automotive, aerospace, defence, or other regulated industries.
* Strong working knowledge of APQP, PPAP, FMEA, 8D, SPC and structured problem solving.
* Confident leading audits, customer interaction and supplier development activity.
