Payroll Officer – Chichester, £13.68ph, PAYE – Reference: 5295616
Responsibilities
* Provide reliable, efficient, and effective flexible support to a team (or across teams) of a complex administrative nature relating to the delivery of specialist services in either payroll or pensions.
* Work on the full range of tasks and processes within the assigned service area; respond to customer queries, provide information and guidance relating to the service, maintain records, produce correspondence, and manage day-to-day processing according to defined procedures.
* Provide senior level specialist administration, support, and advice to assist the team in delivering its central service function.
* Support the team leader in managing work demands within the team and handle directly more complex, technical, and contentious matters; contribute to checking and monitoring the quality of work completed within the team.
* Develop subject matter expertise in key areas of service delivery.
Qualifications
* Experience in payroll or pensions administrative work (preferred).
* Ability to respond to customer queries and provide guidance in line with defined procedures.
* Capability to support a team, handle complex matters, and contribute to quality checks.
* Willingness to develop subject matter expertise in key areas of service delivery.

* This is a full-time and part-time role on a temporary contract basis.
