Overview
Lookers Chelmsford Ford Transit Centre are recruiting for an ambitious and experienced Sales Executive to join our hard-working and friendly team on site. Specialising in new and used van sales, you will work alongside our passionate sales team to provide Lookers first class customer service.
Hours: 45 hours per week. Monday - Friday with Saturdays on a rota basis.
Salary: Basic Salary £25,000 with a realistic OTE £50,000.
Joining our hard-working sales team, you will be a team player with exceptional communication skills to build rapport with colleagues and customers. You will be joining one of the top automotive retailers in the UK and will work with well-established stakeholders to develop your knowledge and career in the industry. Our Sales Executives are the key points of contact and pay close attention to detail to understand customers’ wants and needs.
As part of our ongoing commitment to improving onboarding, our Sales Induction Programme is now a 3-day induction at our head office in Altrincham. You’ll join the induction in your first week, which may require some travel and overnight stays—these costs are covered by our expenses policy.
Responsibilities
* Communicating with customers via email, telephone and in person
* Achieving sales targets and minimum profit objectives, including finance and insurance products
* Arranging and accompanying customers on test drives
* Completing mandatory paperwork and processes as required
* Becoming an ambassador of the sales process, driving forwards new and used car enquiry leads, building rapport to convert appointments into sales and maximise leads
* Live and breathe the brand, conveying passion for driving to customers and creating excitement around their new car purchase
Qualifications
* Strong communication skills and dedication to flawless customer service
* Enthusiasm, drive and motivation to achieve results
* Previous experience in a similar position and within the motor trade is preferred but not essential
* Full UK driving licence (may be required to drive vehicles, including prestige cars)
