Sales Executive
Staffline Ireland are recruiting for a Sales Executive on behalf of one of the largest local providers of health, safety and environmental management training. The Sales Executive will be responsible for driving new business growth through the proactive development of external sales opportunities and the acquisition of new customers.
Responsibilities:
1. Conduct market research to identify potential customers and assess their needs
2. Generate new business leads through external sales activities, including cold calling, networking, site visits, and industry events
3. Build and maintain strong relationships with prospective clients to expand the company's customer base
4. Continuously monitor market trends and competitor activity to identify new opportunities
5. Set up and attend meetings with potential clients to present company products and services
6. Prepare and deliver engaging sales presentations and proposals tailored to client requirements
7. Negotiate and close sales deals, handling objections professionally and effectively
8. Participate on behalf of the company in exhibitions, conferences, and networking events
9. Identify, prepare, and submit tender bids in line with company goals and submission deadlines
10. Ensure all bid documentation is accurate, timely, and compliant with client specifications
11. Collaborate with internal teams to gather required technical or pricing information
12. Maintain and update customer information and leads on the CRM system
13. Produce regular reports on sales performance and pipeline activity
14. Process payments and ensure all financial transactions are recorded accurately
15. Collaborate with colleagues to coordinate schedules, share insights, and achieve team goals

Person Specification:
17. Proven ability to work independently and manage a personal sales pipeline effectively
18. Strong background in external (field) sales and new customer acquisition
19. 5 years' experience in a fast-paced, target-driven sales environment
20. Demonstrated success in winning new business and building long-term customer relationships
21. Experience in preparing and submitting tender bids
22. CRM software experience is essential
23. Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel)
24. Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills
25. Professional, confident, and persuasive phone and in-person manner
26. Flexible approach with the ability to prioritise and problem-solve
27. Highly organised with strong time management and administrative skills
28. Positive, motivated, and results-oriented attitude
29. Full driving licence and access to own car is essential
