We’re looking for a motivated and dependable Handyman to join our team on a self-employed basis. You’ll assist on a wide range of surfacing and groundwork projects, supporting skilled operatives and learning the trade along the way.
Location: National & International Projects
Day Rate: £120–£150 per day (depending on experience and qualifications)
Duties include:
•General labouring and assisting on site installations
•Site cleaning, preparation, and material handling
•Supporting tradespeople with tools and mixes
•Maintaining a clean and safe working environment
•Following instructions and working as part of a professional team
You’ll be working across the UK and occasionally overseas. Accommodation is fully covered, and a £25 daily allowance is provided via a payment card for personal expenses.
Requirements (Essential)
•Valid CSCS card
•Enhanced DBS check (mandatory for work on schools/universities)
•Minimum 3 years’ experience in groundworks, landscaping, or construction
•Must be CIS registered and hold a valid UTR number
•Willingness to work varied hours depending on project demands
•High standards of cleanliness, teamwork, and respect
Preferred (Desirable)
•Full UK driving licence
•Plant machinery tickets (dumper, telehandler, digger, etc.)
•Experience working on education or commercial projects
