Platinum Recruitment are partnering with this locally based business as they look to hire an experienced HR Manager.
This is a new position, requiring a proven track record in HR and a desire to develop a new HR strategy. You will be involved from the ground up, covering all aspects of HR as new processes and procedures are implemented across the business.
Reporting to the MD, you will have the authority to shape the role as you drive this strategy, managing relationships with executive staff, managers, and employees. You will be responsible for the day-to-day management of HR administrative, operational, and people-related functions.
Responsibilities include:
* Be the face and voice of HR within the business
* Ensure HR policies and procedures are compliant and aligned with best practices. Revise existing policies and produce new policies as needed
* Support daily HR services administration (including: organizational design and change, leadership development, performance management, compensation, employee retention, team building, and employee relations)
* Maintain a flexible and friendly work environment while meeting business needs
To be successful, you will need:
* 4+ years in a HR leadership role
* Experience working with all staff levels up to executive level
* Background in various HR functions such as policy writing, compensation, benefits, employee relations, health and safety, organizational development, training, legal compliance, etc.
* Fluency in financial, market, technology, and operational topics as needed to contribute to the management team
* Effective advisory skills for management and employees
* Ability to work independently with a high degree of autonomy
* Ability to generate good HR ideas and solutions that enhance the organization’s people and structure
