Salary: NLC6 - £27,301 - £29,180
You will be responsible for all catering activities within the unit, including menu planning, cooking and baking, stock control, maintaining budgetary targets, administration, supervision, and staff training.
You should possess a SVQ Level 2 or City and Guilds 7061/2 or an equivalent qualification, or be willing to work towards this qualification within two years. Moderate relevant experience is required, including supervisory, administrative, and functional work experience, as well as experience in stock ordering and control. Good craft skills, along with strong communication, numeracy, and organizational skills, are essential.
An enthusiastic team player with a flexible and positive approach, capable of working well under pressure.
You will need to become a Protecting Vulnerable Groups (PVG) Scheme member before starting in this role.
Location: Thornlie Primary School, Wishaw
Work Pattern: Monday to Friday, 7.30 am to 3 pm (Term Time)
