A leading multinational trading and investment organisation is looking for an experienced HR professional to join its London team. This is a high‑impact, broad generalist role supporting UK operations and the wider European bloc.
You’ll be the go‑to partner for managers and employees, providing expert guidance across HR policy, UK employment law, employee relations and recruitment. You’ll also play a key role in shaping people practices, driving HR projects, and supporting subsidiaries across Europe.
What you’ll be doing
* Advising managers and employees on HR policy and complex employment law matters
* Leading end‑to‑end recruitment, including interviews and psychometrics
* Managing a wide range of ER cases (grievances, sickness, flexible working, redundancy, TUPE and more)
* Reviewing and developing policies in line with UK legislation and best practice
* Overseeing performance appraisal processes for the London office
* Delivering accurate HR administration, onboarding, contracts and exit processes
* Partnering closely with payroll, external advisors and HR colleagues across Europe
* Supporting L&D and training needs across the business
What you’ll bring
* Strong HR generalist background, with 5+ years' experience, within a large multinational
* Advanced knowledge of UK employment law
* Experience managing ER cases and recruitment cycles
* High attention to detail, analytical mindset and absolute discretion
* CIPD Level 5+ and a relevant degree preferred
* A collaborative, open and proactive approach to working with stakeholders at all levels
